The Morning Call
On Today’s segment we delve on Intra Africa travel.
Africa is still the Earth’s hidden gem with great lakes, pristine beaches, majestic wildlife among others.
According to the UN World Tourism Organisation, Africa achieved an 8 per cent rebound in international arrivals in 2016 after two troubled years, adding 4 million arrivals to reach 58 million.
Intra Africa travel is relatively popular on the continent. This type of travel occurs regionally mainly due to the close proximity of countries. It is also cheaper to visit neighbouring countries or states within a regional bloc in terms of travelling transportation.
Nowadays many travel services and events management firms are promoting Intra Africa travel to not only international tourists but to Africans.
